The Administrative Assistant provides support to the department in day-to-day activities and responsibilities. In the position you may act as a record keeper, maintaining all personnel and related employment files, including confidential information in accordance with Region and Corporate policies and procedures.
As an Administrative Assistant you may:
- Maintain accident, safety, driver certification files and workers' compensation records in accordance with the Region, Corporate and federal regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and/or other Division management to include file and record maintenance, creation of various reports and/or correspondence.
- Act as the Division record keeper for EEO/Affirmative Action purposes.
- Act as the division Benefits Point of Contact assisting employees with new hire paperwork, benefits eligibility, new enrollment and claims issues through communication with corporate benefits department.
- Administer drug testing policy to include pre-employment, random and post-accident/post-injury testing.
- Operate a multi-line switchboard, and route calls to the appropriate person or location
- Greet and direct vendors, customers, and other visitors to the appropriate office
- Routes incoming mail, schedules appointments, files correspondence and other records, as necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High school diploma/GED
- 2 years of administrative or equivalent experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
